In 2010, Dylan discovered fly fishing as a way to honor her late husband, Tony. What began as a personal solace grew into a calling—to create gear tailored for women, who were often overlooked in the sport. Combining her expertise as an Agile Solutions Architect with her love for the outdoors, Dylan co-founded She’s Fly with Emily. When she’s not innovating, she enjoys music, travel, and time with her pets in Fort Collins, CO.
Emily’s Path
A true Colorado spirit, Emily has always defied expectations. Her deep connection to nature and advocacy for public lands drove her to challenge industry norms. Fly fishing became a symbol of her commitment to inclusivity in outdoor sports. Beyond She’s Fly, Emily thrives on spontaneity—whether adventuring with her dogs or soaking in mountain vistas.
